We hope you and your children are all well and have enjoyed your summer. Here at TMA Kidz Club we have been working hard to set up and get ready to receive our children back to club after our temporary closure.
We have been following guidelines laid out by the government and will put into practice the procedures that have been advised as well as following our ‘school day’ routines. Our Kidz Club will be open for breakfast and after school club but we will be changing how we run our activities and manage the areas children will be for this. Following the government advice and procedures laid out throughout the school day we will be placing children into Year Group Bubbles when in Kidz Club care.
Our capacity will also be affected so it is extremely important that bookings are made in advance as possible and that any emergencies session are requested via kidz club/reception only.
This means that sessions will be more structured with the element of free play to be based on table activities or small group games. We will be encouraging children to participate in outside play as much as possible for both Breakfast and Afterschool Clubs especially whilst we still have the warmer weather. Children will still be provided with breakfast if booked for the 7:30am session, however service of breakfast will be stopped at 7:50am to allow time for staff to clean areas and set up activities for the 8:00am session. A small snack and fruit will be available for children in Afterschool Club but children are welcome to bring one from home.
Drop off and Pick ups
Drop off will stay the same via the main reception entrance but please ensure you only arrive at the allotted time of the session you have booked. Children WILL NOT be allowed to wait in the reception for their session to start or in the holding area at the front of reception. Please ensure you maintain social distancing when queuing to drop your children off. We will be allowing one family at a time in the holding area to drop off. A member of staff will be at the main door to greet children and sign them in on the register. Children will then be guided to their allocated bubble area.
Pick up will also stay the same from school reception and the same rules will apply as per the morning drop off. Please enter into the holding area only when it is free and no other parents are inside. Please ring the doorbell and a member of staff will bring your child out to you.
Bookings for breakfast and after school club are now open for the new academic year. A small session increase has been put in place for breakfast club but after school club sessions remain the same and further details of this can be found on our school website. Please ensure where possible that bookings are made at least 48 hours in advance.
However over the first few days of term we will be excepting walk in bookings until all parents accounts are set up and running fully. If you require an emergency session please email firstname.lastname@example.org and call school reception to request a session for your child.
We will not be accepting children that are not booked into a session or Kidz Club if Kidz Club have not authorised an emergency session.
It is extremely important that we have our parents support throughout this difficult time so we can continue to provide the best possible care for our your children. A full risk assessment for the reopening of school including the provision of our Kidz Club will be able for parents to view on our school website. If you have any queries regarding any of the above or any other matter please contact us on our Kidz Club email.
