Thank you for the Christmas cards

Last term, the children at Two Mile Ash created handmade Christmas cards for local care home residents – over 350 were made – to help spread some Christmas kindness at what can be a lonely time of year for some. They were well received and we would like to thank the residents who telephoned, emailed and posted letters to let us know they really appreciated the cards!

“I live in Shenley Wood Retirement Village and I received a lovely card. Please could you say thank you very much, the card was beautiful and made me very happy. Thank you to all the children who sent us cards, it was very kind”

“Just to say how pleased I was to receive a Christmas card from one of your pupils, handmade and addressed to a dear friend. It also had such a lovely greeting message inside. Thank you so much for the lovely surprise. Please pass on my thanks to the children and all involved.”

“On behalf of every member of staff and every resident we would like to send a massive ‘Thank you’ to all pupils at Two Mile Ash who made Christmas card for every resident here. It was a really thoughtful and kind gesture and bought smiles to all our residents faces.”
