All about me

Hi! My name is Miss Fawcett, and I have the privilege of being Head of RSHE at Two Mile Ash School! I love teaching and organising RSHE. It allows me to create a fun and expressive part of the curriculum that encourages pupils to be independent, mindful and resilient individuals. I have to say, my favourite part of the subject has to be learning about our wellbeing! This is not just our physical wellbeing, but our mental and emotional wellbeing as well – these are so important to remember to take care of every single day in order to keep ourselves healthy and motivated!

RSHE at TMA

RSHE takes an important part of the curriculum at Two Mile Ash that is embedded in our everyday learning. Pupils at TMA will be exposed to three main areas of RSHE throughout their time here with us: Health and Wellbeing, Living in the Wider World and Understanding Relationships – with the aim that overtime pupils will become well-rounded, confident and empathetic young adults.

During their time with us at TMA, pupils will be exposed to numerous wellbeing days including:

  • #helloyellow – supported by the charity Young Minds

  • World Mental Health Day

  • No Pens Day
