At Two Mile Ash we provide a full range of educational visits and place high importance on out of the classroom learning, particularly residential visits for which we have a visit available for every year group.  Our residential programme will include a Year 3 overnight visit, Year 4 activity centre visit to Whitemoor Lakes, Staffordshire, Year 5 visit to the Isle of Wight, Year 6 visit to Bournemouth and our Year 5/6 Ski visit to the European Alps. In addition, we run two camping residential visits as part of the extra provision for our children and day visits for every Year group too.

Parents are given full notification of all trips well in advance but in the event of a parent not wishing their child to take part in a curriculum term time trip, arrangements will be made to accommodate their child in school.

Parents are asked to note that governors have made a bursary available to the Headteacher to assist parents who may wish their child to take part in certain visits, but who may be experiencing difficulties in making a financial contribution. Please inform the Headteacher if you require any assistance.

All visits conform to very precise safety procedures as detailed in the school’s comprehensive Educational Visits Policy, which is available upon request, for inspection by parents.  Visits are reviewed and updated at the end of every academic year.
